About the Role

Companion Animal Medical Center is seeking a full-time experienced veterinary assistant to join our small animal practice. Join our team and contribute to providing excellent patient care and client care to our community.  

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills, with the ability to work independently, and as part of a team. 

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint 

• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines 

• Experience in perioperative care, including discharginf patients 

• Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work 

• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff.  

• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions. 

 Hours of work are 7:30am- 5pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and 8am-noon on Wednesday. Weekend shifts are expected for patient care etc.
